Strada in Chianti
Strada is a typical town in the Chianti county filled
with vineyards and olive groves and amazing scenery.
It is quite close to Florence. Although it is a small
town it has all the facilities required for a relaxing
vacation. There are many villas, farmhouses and hotels
in and around the town. There are also a few picturesque
bars and cafes. It is also a good place for biking.
During the “Festival of Peasant Civilization”
which is held in the month of April, Strada in Chianti
recreates the ancient times and is a spectacle of music,
local markets, games and excellent food.
