The premises in Via del Proconsolo, which the Manuelli bookstore has occupied since 1830, was the former carriage house of the Bishop of Fiesole. During its more than 160 years of business, Manuelli has dealt in religious objects, with a vast assortment of books on religion and vestments for Roman Catholic churches. In the past Manuelli also published cultural books and magazines, the last copies of these publications, however were lost in the 1966 flood.
