Libreria Florence, Italy

Florence & Tuscany Guide / Bookshops / Libreria

Libreria Florence, ItalyThe bookstore was opened in 1930 by Galileo Focardi near Piazza Beccaria. He is a relative of the current owner, Massimo Forcardi. The room is known for its characteristic vaulted ceiling and for original 19th and early 20th century shelves.

The shop sells historical books, art prints and antique objects. Don't be surprised if you find a rare book here. Some years ago, browsing among the ancient stuff, a customer found a valuable first edition of Marcel Proust "Recherche".

Libreria is on Borgo La Croce 15/r.
