Come to Borgo degli Albizi, 63/r, and visit a unique store where you will find the noble family of Altoviti who had actually manufactured the bricks made in the old brickyards at Troghi (Rignano sull'Arno),that were used for the old buildings since 1861. Located on 18 Borgo degli Albizi at the Altoviti Palace, the company had acquired the accolade and award for its products at the Florence Exhibition. Established in the middle of the 19th century, the store is owned now by Emilio Bartoli, a relation of the family. Wander through its fascinating history arrayed in a variety of products, such as, stone and terra cotta sculptures of angels, the Virgin Mary and a wide display that showcase different styles and colors.
