Do you have a penchant for carved and gilded antiques? Then, the Bongini on Borgo S. Jacop, 70/r, is the place for you. Started by Rolando Cafissi in 1948, this difficult to find oval-shaped property belonged as the Sacristy near the Church of S. Jacopo Sopr'Arno. Bongini specializes in the restoration of carved and gilded antiques which has now been moved across the street by Cafissi's son-in-law, Massimo Bongini. Take a look at the original store which is a retail outlet housed in an elegant gray stone finish building.
