Later he expanded the business to include the trade of accessories, like luggage, handbags and collars. The Second World War brought on a wider range to offer the customers a varied choice. But the flood of 1966 damaged and hindered the business and the Brovelli was restored and re-structured with its original décor using wood and moquette which gave it its elegance and warmth. The year 2001 saw further renovation with innovative materials and designs which brought into focus the traditional architecture and style of ancient times showcasing its ceilings and arches of times gone by.
