| Florence & Tuscany Guide / Transport / By Bus The orange public urban transport buses ply the streets of Florence. They are run by two companies, ATAF and LI-NEA. You can purchase tickets and bus passes at the Box Ataf in Piazza Stazione, bars, newstands, tobacconists. You ticket must be stamped on the machines on board. If you are travelling between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., tickets can be purchased aboard from the driver at € 2.00. So its best you don’t use your car in the city-centre.
