Parking Guide Florence, Italy

Florence & Tuscany Guide / Transport / Parking Guide

In most cases motorists in Florence have to park their car in a payment car park. Parking areas are regulated by ZCS (Zona Controllo Sosta), that provide for different kinds of stop spaces: for residents, for workers living out of Florence, for occasional users. The latter, apart from guarded park places, can also park in the blue spaces with a “P” for two hours (max) or from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. (from 7.30 p.m. to 7.30 a.m. payment car parks cost € 0.75 for 3 hours, but you have to buy in advance a special ticket called “Gratta e Sosta” by paying the rate of € 1.00 per hour (€ 1.55 at the parking place in Piazza Stazione)

If you’re living in a hotel you may enjoy a special “Scratch and park” called “hotel tourist parking” available at the reception of the hotels. The price is €8 for 24 hours parking in special areas.
