Testimonials
Our stay at The Limonia was fantastic. Throughout the booking and planning process, Ranjani was professional and very helpful. When we arrived, we were pleased to see that the villa was exactly as viewed on the Internet! It was clean, comfortable and well equipped with absolutely everything we needed, including extra towels. The grounds were breathtaking and immaculate, as was the pool. The on-site staff and other guests were friendly and quiet – a fantastic place for families and couples alike. The location is central for day driving trips to area Tuscan towns, and only a 10 minute walk followed by a 15 minute train ride to Florence. Our only frustration were unavoidable mosquitoes and difficult to do laundry. The windows often did not have adequate screens and although well maintained, given the age of the building, there were lots of places for mosquitoes to get in. Next time, we will bring bug repellant! The laundry machines were in constant use, so it was difficult to actually wash a load of laundry.

Advice to travellers driving to Pandolfini estate:

* Follow the driving directions provided by Florence Villas, they are excellent. MapQuest or Google Maps will no get you there!
* Read the literature that they send you before coming – it contains lots of helpful hints and suggestions
* Buy local food – it is fantastic!
* Stay longer than you think you will want to as once you get there, you will wish you had another day to relax and enjoy!
* Don not drive to Florence from Pandolfini – the train is easier and more convenient. Be careful of the reduced Sunday schedule.

Advice to first time Italy travellers:

* Florence is a fantastic walking city. Get a good map, good shoes, and spend your days on your feet!
* To appreciate Italy, one must slow down, and take the time to truly enjoy the views, the local people, the food and the drink!

Dear Meaghan:

Our stay at the Limonaia was most pleasant. A delightful villa with every amenity one could ask for. The facility is great and the location perfect. Both you and Elizabeth were very helpful and we certainly would and will recommend you and your team to any of our friends who are going to be travelling to Italy. If you would like some free publicity, Lois (my significant other) would be happy to write you up in her weekly column in the newspaper "The Jewish Light" here in St. Louis MO. She has a huge following and has been writing this column for 44 years. You can email any information she can use to her attention direct at her email address which is loiscmiller@yahoo.com . We especially enjoyed the meal Mauritzio prepared for us as dinner one evening during our stay. He is a great chef and very hospitable. Please let us hear from you. Our best regards to Elizabeth and the Brogis.

Fondly, Aaron Sandler

Ranjani,

Thanks for all you did to help us with our rental arrangements. We were very glad we stayed at Tosca and Limonaia. Of course, having Meagan and Elizabeth and on-site was a tremendous help as they gave advice and made arrangements for us at restaurants and museums. The accommodations were outstanding--esp. very clean, spacious and nicely furnished. The estate was beautiful, very relaxing and extremely convenient to the train station, the highways, stores, etc. By the way, Mrs. Brogi was a joy to meet and talk with. She was so sweet to give us a present of fresh-picked grapes.

Gary Kugler.

We very much enjoyed our stay and the hospitality. Limonaia was very relaxing and charming! It was nice to be personally greeted and given maps of the area and advice on what to do and where to eat.

Thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Limonia in September. The Limonia was very spacious, and the grounds of the estate were lovely. The staff was most helpful answering our questions and giving wonderful suggestions as to where to eat. Some of the highlights for me included wanderinging behind the Limonia and discover walls with mosiacs on them, or wild cyclamans, or finding an old fountain half hidden by bushes. This added to the charm of the setting.

I certainly would stay at the Limonia again - it was a lovely place to call "home base" for a week.

Thank you, Linda Peterson.

Hi Meaghan,

Thank you very much for all your help in making our vacation a memorable experience. I am sure my lack of Italian train schedules drove you and Ranjani mad, but I appreciate all your help in sorting that out as well. Your professionalism and courteous manner were appreciated. Thank you also for going out of your busy schedule to pick us up at the train station and for arranging the chef to come in at such short notice.

A great thank you to Elizabeth as well. She was friendly, courteous and always willing to help us out.

The Villa was absolutely spectacular and we look forward to going back there someday.

Meaghan,

We had a really lovely holiday and enjoyed the Limonaia villa. Great converted barn And the pool was a delightful area.

Do keep me updated on any other similar type properties you have - perhaps in the northern Italian Lakes area, or France.
