Country villa near Florence in the Chianti hills of Tuscany, Italy. The villa is a part of a large agricultural estate of 150 hectares lying on the Chianti hills of Tuscany after Lastra A Signa, 15kms from Florence, 60kms from Pisa and 70kms from Siena.

Beautifully restored villa near the old olive mill of a large estate producing biological, organic products since 1982. A large loggia surrounds the front of the stone villa with private pool which was painstakingly restored to keep the original charm, not leaving out any minor detail. Quiet setting surrounded by woods, olive groves, lavender and vineyards.

Ground Floor: One enters into the sitting room with a large stone antique fireplace and couches. There is a large living room, dining room and kitchen. A original stone staircase leads up to the first floor.

First Floor: This floor comprises of 7 bedrooms all with double beds, safe, small fridge, screens on windows, table, chairs & coffee, tea facilities. A private bathroom (shower, wc, handbasin, bidet) in each room. Every room enjoys a view. There is also a sitting corner. Each bedroom has a fan.

Set on a picturesque hill overlooking the surrounding hills, olive groves and vineyards. The estate offers an organic restaurant serving high quality traditional meat and vegetarian dishes accompanied by choice wines; a weekly guided visit of the vineyards and olive groves, wine tasting in the cellars, cooking classes can be organized and rental of mountain bikes. There are 2 large pools on the estate. We can organize weekly visit to cellar, mill and vineyards with farms oil and wine tasting activities at an extra cost. Trekking paths are indicated.

Nearest Villages and Towns: Malmantile (2 km) shops, post-office, bars and bank. The nearest rail-station at Montelupo F.no (5 km) where you can also find the Ceramic Museum, Coop supermarket and Carabinieri. (8 km) Lastra a Signa with IperCoop supermarket and the S.G.C. Fi-Pi-Li speedway to Florence, Pisa and Livorno.

Villa Frantoio is a peaceful place that offers an ideal ambience for those who want to enjoy the countryside and relax. It is also conveniently located to visit Florence (20 minutes by public transport) and the other Tuscan cities.
