Villa Visconti, a luxury villa in Tuscany between Volterra and San Gimignano, Italy. The villa commands the magic frame of the Tuscan countryside from Volterra to San Gimignano. The villa is located at approx 1hr 20mins from FLorence. Built in the XVII century by order of the governor of Leghorn and admiral of the Tuscan Navy Jacopo Inghirami (1565-1623), it was designed by the architect Gherardo Silvani (1579-1675).

Surrounded by a magnificent garden with centuries-old trees, the complex extends over an area of 7.5 acres, 6 miles from Volterra. During a tour of Tuscany for his 1964 film Vaghe stelle delli Orsa, the film director Luchino Visconti was fascinated by the villa and recommended it to its current owner, a famous film producer. After being purchased and entirely renovated, the complex soon became a cultural and artistic centre that has hosted the biggest names of Italian and international cinema and show business.

The Villa and the adjacent buildings consist of 3 suites, 1 junior suite and 12 bedrooms.

Ground Floor: There is a private chapel, dining room, kitchen, pantry, hall, two double bedrooms, laundry and one bathroom. On the first floor there is a large reception room for parties, billiards room, table-football room, table-games room, roulette room, satellite TV room, ping-pong room.
