Colonica Mercatale is a lovely Tuscan farmhouse in Chianti dating back to the 12th century, situated in the heart of the Chiant region of Mercatale Val di Pesa. This Tuscan farmhouse is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Mercatale Val di Pesa is the closest village (2.5 km.) and offers most facilities (banks, supermarket, post office, etc.) Ground Floor: There is a living room, dining room, kitchen, one double bedroom and a small bathroom with shower. On the ground floor there is also an apartment with independent access, composed by: one double bedroom, one bathroom with shower and a dining room with kitchen corner. First Floor:There is a living room with fireplace and kitchen corner, one double bedroom, one bathroom with tub, one twin room, one single room with a little loft and shared bathroom. Tower: There is a big double bedroom with wonderful views of the hills around and an open bathroom. Outside the kitchen there is a little pergola and a large "cortile" (courtyard) for dining outside under the tuscan sky. The swimming pool is shared with the owner and near the swimmingpool there is a very nice little terrace, with dining area.
